Made In Abyss trailer has just been released. Season 2, Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun, is slated for July 6, 2022.
New meetings
Unlike the first two trailers, Rico, Légu and Nanachi are not present. It is true that the lack of appearance of the heroes can make one think of a story parallel to their adventures, but this is by no means the case. The story of Vueko and his companions will undoubtedly have an impact on that of Riko and his friends. Moreover, in this trailer, the quest, as well as the life of the new characters of the series seem compromised. This future season of Made In Abyss will, once again, offer us a thrilling story.
As with previous adaptations, studio Kinema Citrus (Tate no Yuusha, Black Bullet…) will take care of the animation. Kojima Masayuki will direct the episodes and Haga Hitoshi will assist him. Kise Kazuchika and Kuroka Yuka will take care of the chara-design. The staff does not really change for this new season, we should find a quality similar to that of previous adaptations.
The sweet voices of Yuka Terasaki (Katsuma in My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising) and Misaki Kuno (Hawk in Seven Deadly Sins) join the cast. They will perform Vueko and Faputa.
Synopsis
On the surface of this planet, only one place remains mysterious and unexplored: a gigantic hole nicknamed "The Abyss". In this bottomless crevasse sleep treasures that humanity no longer seems able to reproduce. The fascination and wonder that the Abyss represents drives many people to venture there.
